                                                       Value Everything You Get

     “Never accept the food from others without working.” Through this old Chinese saying we can see that obtaining things without struggling is really disgusting. We should struggle for the thing we want. When we get the goods through ourselves struggling, we will really value it and really take good care of it.

      But as a teenager now, we don not really have ability to make a lot of money to pay for study and other things we want. So we obtain these things from our parents. Our parents struggled to get their own money to pay our study and things we want. In order to give us a better life, study environment and things we want. Our parents work hard everyday to make the money. There’s no reason for us to not value those thing that our parents bought us. For this reason we should value everything we obtain. Not only things we obtain through our struggle, but also the things from our parents or other people.

     Only by struggling can we know the real value of things we obtain. There is no denying that all people should work for living. Because we are students, our main goal is to study hard and get good grades. As a result we do not have much time to work. But this doesn’t mean we can’t have a job. Having a part- time job is the best way for students to earn money, get working experience and also to understand that making money is not as easy as they thought.

      Last summer in order to earn money to get a racing car, which I wanted. I went to my father’s company and worked like a waiter. If there were clients came to visit our company my job was to welcome them, take them to the meeting room and make tea or coffee for them. And when there were no clients my job was to sending files to different departments. During that time I worked everyday except weekends. Working eight hours a day really made me exhausted. For earning money I gave up hanging out with my friends and stop playing video games. After almost a month’s working for my father, finally I got my first salary in my life. At that night I was too excited to fall a sleep. Next day I went to the shop and bought that race car back.  I treated that race car like my son. I drove it carefully and did the best maintenance for it. Through that whole month’s working experience I really understood it is not easy to make money. You should work very hard everyday and you barely make any mistakes.

     Besides valuing things that obtained from our own struggling, we should also value things we obtain for our parents and friend. Though we can have part-time job in our holiday, but in most times we still obtain things from our parents or other people. We cannot have views that because those stuffs are not bought buy ourselves, so we can treat them whatever we want. Making money is not easy for everyone, not only you but also others. So things that you obtain from your parents or other people are earned by those people’s struggle.

     For these reasons we should value everything we obtained and this is also a kind of respect.
