Art examination?

Some of you might have heard about “Gaokao” in china- it is a huge thing for Chinese high school students. Students will have to take the test in order to get into a college. Your might wonder why is it so important? It’s just like SAT! The one thing different is that you can only take it once a year, either make it or break it. Every college will have a fraction line; you might get a chance to interview only you pass it first. Its just as hard as it sounds like, thinks about taking more than 9 subject test in to or three days! Isn’t there some easy way to pass it? Well, people always know how to find shortcut. There is an exam called “Yikao”, which is an Art Examination hold by each college. Pass the art examination can lower the fraction line for you in that school. If you are an art person, it might be perfect for you, a major you like and a great college! But those days, people start to take advantages from it.
A year before “gaokao” students who wants to take “yikao” start to leave their high school for a while to prepare. So many organizations appeared then. They have professional art teachers in all art fields. Like painting, vocal music, broadcast, director, flight attendant, photography, and performing… we have to admit that some people is actually talented but the large group is hiding their talents in a napkin.

Isn’t it hard to find a real good piece of work out of all the pictures here? Especially when they are the same subject. No one cares about the ideas the art students have but the trained art skill.But no matter what the system is like, I do admire all the students taken the test; they have to face the pressure from the intense art competition, and also the hard work from “Gaokao”.  Wish all my friends can get their ideal offer.
