Author : Jon Krakauer
At the beginning of this year term i have read a book named “ Into The Wild”. This is a not a normal novel because the whole of this novel was reorganized by a real story. The author was a reporter (at least in this novel) his magazine had a long special report about this event so he can got a lot of information about this. These information include many cover from some people who had meet the major character and the calender of his trip and some of his journal. Those make his book dependable this story was really happened around you. That’s a really interesting type of writing I think that fun.
This story was about a boy who name is Christopher (when he into the wild he always call him Alexander to conceal his real). He was born in a really rich family he was a top student in his good college in Atlanta. It looks his future was bright and easy to got successful. But he did a really “fool” things he gave up a chance to got a great job he presented all of his deposit to charity. He selected a totally different way of his life, he choose to go to Alaska to find his nature.
At first I just think he is a simple young people had a unrealistic dream. His dream for me was fool and not make any sense. At first he even need a galoshes from a truck driver. That’s looks like a things just amateur will do. But follow the development I started to change my opinion about him. He was a amateur of the wild, so he must face many problem and have to over come of this problem. If a was just a normal simple boy he may cry very loud try to got help and then go back to his house ended his small dream. But Alexander was not a normal person, although his difficult was harder and harder he always can overcome them. He had feel hopeless many times but he never give up. Although his life was really hard in Alaska his journal tels as he was still feel happy and free anytime! Even when he were going to dead he just regret he did not setout enough to Alaska nor his choose. In this time he became a really dreamer in my heart.
For me in fact my opinion of life’s value is different with him, I will never do the crazy things as he did. But I still respect his dream and his brave. Whatever dream you have this brave is the things you must have. That’s why I still remember this book.
